About Us

Construction of Refuge Terraza de la Tierra began in 2007 with the intention of creating a beautiful and mindful place in these magical mountans. We are an eco conscious retreat center and strive to minimize our impact on the planet with our sustainability practices and locally sourced building materials. Guests can unwind in our cosy cabins after exploring the natural beauty along our many hiking trails. Come and enjoy a peaceful tranquil escape at Refuge Terraza de la Tierra.

10 minutes (4km) from San Jose del Pacifico

Arriving by bus from Oaxaca or Pochutla, both will arrive in the town of San José, from there you can take a moto taxi to the Refugio (cost between 50-70 mx pesos).
